WATER debuted a special guest mix on the ‘A-Z w/ Nic Tasker’ show on east London’s NTS Radio this week, exclusively available for streaming below. Ever since the self-released, excellent seven-track ‘sluts’ EP, sampling Britney Spears, Rihanna, Mariah Carey and Lady Gaga, that appeared in October last year, we’ve been highly anticipating new material from WATER – and this guest mix delivers.
Titled ‘The Littoral Path’, the first ten minutes of the mix chronicle the journey of a crab, before plunging into an array of edits (from Radiohead to Justin Timberlake) and unreleased (and, we’ve been told, likely to never be released) material. It’s also been claimed on NTS that WATER will have a new record due out in a couple of weeks. No release date has been provided yet; watch this space for further information.
