Austra - Home The Toronto-based group return with a new single full of promise for their new album, due out in June.
Canadian band Austra return today with their new single Home, serving as the first listen to ‘Olympia’, due out in June. Lead singer Katie Stelmanis – who featured recently on Hervé‘s Save Me – delivers a familiarly rich vocal, with dense instrumentation peppered over syncopated piano stabs. Comparing the subtle nods to balearic and disco in Home’s sonics with the synth-centric sound of a ‘Feel It Break’ cut like Lose It, it seems like promising things are in store for ‘Olympia’.
Domino will release ‘Olympia’ on the 17th June
